While we adore timeless brands like Grimm’s, Grapat, and Holztiger, we know they aren’t always accessible to every family. Finding a secondhand Grimm’s rainbow or a discontinued Raduga Grez set can feel nearly impossible.

Meet Claire

Wonder + Kind is an Ottawa-based online shop founded by Claire, a passionate mom and believer in the power of play.

After becoming a parent, Claire wanted to shop locally and choose toys that were both sustainable and high quality—but found those options difficult to access in her community. She also noticed that many eco-friendly toys come with a price tag that puts them out of reach for some families.

Wonder + Kind was created to change that.

By combining curated ethical brands with thoughtfully selected preloved toys, Claire built a shop that supports imaginative play while being kinder to both our planet and our communities.
