How does this work? How often are new items uploaded to the website?

We upload items in batches (often called “drops”) and let our community know when new items are coming. Instagram is usually the first place we share updates, so follow us at @wonderandkind.shop or join our mailing list to stay in the loop.

Where are you located? Do you offer local pickup and delivery?

We’re an online shop based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving families across Canada. We offer complimentary contactless pickup for customers local to Ottawa, free local delivery on orders over $100 and free shipping on orders over $150.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free Canada-wide shipping on orders over $150 (before tax). Orders under $150 ship for a flat rate of $18. Orders are carefully packed and typically ship within 1-3 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way. At this time, we ship within Canada only.

I placed an order. When will I receive or pick up my items?

Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. If you selected local pickup in Ottawa, you’ll receive an email when your order is ready so you can arrange a convenient pickup time. If you selected local delivery, your order will be delivered within 1-3 business days. 

What is your return policy?

We hope you love everything you receive. If something isn’t quite right, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in their original condition. Unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, excluding the original shipping cost and a 5% transaction fee.

Are you accepting new items for consignment? What does the process look like?

We’re always looking for gently used toys to pass along to our community. If you have wooden toys, open-ended play materials, or learning resources in great condition, please email us at hello@wonderandkind.ca and we’ll be happy to share more details about the consignment process.
